Dr. Nyitray's primary research interest is in screening interventions for human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated disease with a focus on anal cancer. This research covers anal cancer and precancer screening interventions that seek to help gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men detect precancers or early invasive cancer when the cancer is much more treatable.
