Severien Van Keer works as a postdoctoral researcher (FWO fellow) at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Her research focuses on translational research to demonstrate the clinical accuracy of HPV testing in first-void urine with host cell methylation marker triage. Including the organization of a randomized controlled trial (ScreenUrSelf) embedded in the organized cervical screening program in Flanders (Belgium), offering urine/vaginal self-sampling to un(der)-screened women.
