Dr. Wentzensen is Deputy Director of the Clinical Genetics Branch and Head of the Clinical Epidemiology Unit, in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG), at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Wentzensen is an international expert in molecular epidemiology of gynecological cancers with a focus on cervical disease detection and the identification and validation of novel biomarkers for translation into new screening and prevention methods.
