Chris Meijer MD, Ph.D., is trained as a surgical pathologist performing translational research in the field of HPV and HPV associated cancers.He has been chairman of the dept of Pathology, VU-UMC Amsterdam from 1983-2010 and was awarded for his research several times by (Inter)national organisations.
Presently he leads a research group focusing on the development of a full molecular cervical cancer (self)screening algorithm and is part time director of Self-Screen B.V.
